Your First Visit
Your first visit to Beale Medical Weight Loss will be your Initial Consultation.
We will get your vitals, measurements, and draw your blood. Dr. Brill will review your medical, diet and exercise history.
You will not receive medication or an injection on your first visit because we must wait until the next morning to receive your lab results. This is important because we need to make sure your medical weight loss program is SAFE for your current medical condition.
Dr. Brill then determines the personalized medical weight loss plan that will be safe and effective for you.
Your first visit will last about 1 hour.
You must physically come to our office for your Initial Consultation. Afterwards, Telemed is generally available.

Subsequent Visits
Your visits are now on a walk-in / call-in basis. Depending on if you are on a weekly or monthly plan, your next visit should be within 7 to 28 days after the preceding visit. You can come to any of our office locations, or you may have a Telemed visit – check our hours to see what works best with your schedule.
Your second visit to Beale Medical Weight Loss can be as early as the morning after your first visit, which is when we receive your lab results.
You can expect the following at your visits:
– Your weight and blood pressure will be taken by a medical assistant for in office visits. If Telemed, you must tell us your weight and blood pressure.
– Personalized one-on-one counseling. We will discuss your physical examination or progress results, laboratory results, eating plan, medication plan, exercise plan and your goals. All of your questions will be answered at this time.
– Based on your plan, you will receive your weight loss medications and injections.
The total time for your visits is 15-25 minutes, depending on the complexity of your medical situation. We also have an after-hours emergency number to call if you have additional questions after your visit.
Maintenance Plan
When you reach your goal, we teach you how to maintain so that you will not regain the weight.
